A good visit
In August my parents finally came out for a visit. Six years we've been married and we thought they'd never come. But they did, and it was wonderful to have them!
Thanks for coming Dad and Mom! We love you and hope its not another six years before you visit!!!!

From your comment on our blog...Yep, only 2 or 2/12 hours from Lafayette. We are coming down for the conference again in February. We'll have to plan on having dinner together! It would be great to see you guys again.

I found you Sarah! ghytjj-- oops! That was a little comment from Ella. She's sick and just laying on me as I check e-mail and blogs. It was so good to read your blog and catch up a little. So, the parents finally made the long trip. That's great. I know those were precious days you spent with them. As the days and years grow longer that we're apart from family my heart hurts more to be with them. It's harder when you have kids and want them so badly to have grandparents around. Sarah, has it been 5 years since we've been together? I can't believe that! Please come to me!
So true, Sarah. We pass beautiful Lafayette every so often. That would be great fun to meet up with you guys. I'll give you a heads up next time we're traveling through!
